Tar Crew – Council
Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join the Tar Crew with one of our local client sites. This is a great opportunity to work locally, gain council experience, and be part of a supportive civil works team.
About the Role
You will be working within the council’s roads and infrastructure team, assisting with:
Road resurfacing and asphalt work
General labouring duties
Operating small plant/equipment (training provided)
Traffic control support
Working as part of a fast-paced outdoor crew
This role offers consistent hours, a strong team culture and the chance to upskill in civil construction.
What We’re Looking For
Physically fit and able to work outdoors
Previous labouring, civil or asphalt experience desirable but not essential
White Card (mandatory)
Driver’s Licence (HR licence highly regarded)
Traffic Control tickets beneficial
Strong teamwork attitude and reliability
